Physiotherapists must graduate from an undergraduate university degree in Physiotherapy or a graduate entry masters of Physiotherapy studies.
Further qualifications in the progression include a Masters degree through coursework or experience in a specialty such as “Sports and Exercise,” or “Neurological.” At RHP Physiotherapy, our staff have an interest in returning to and maintaining physical activity. Hence a number of our past and present Physiotherapists attaining qualifications and recognition through the Australian Physiotherapy Association as APA titled Sports and Exercise Physiotherapists.
Physiotherapists must maintain their education through continued professional development coursework, literature study and in-services. RHP Physiotherapy continues a fortnightly routine of in-service education sessions run by staff and invited presenters from various specialisations such as Sports MEdicine, Orthopaedic surgery and other allied health professionals such as Podiatrists, Nutritionists, Psychologists and Exercise Physiologists.
